Cookies

When browsing the website, information related to your navigation may be stored in “cookies” files installed on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.), depending on your cookie preferences, which can be modified at any time.

The information below helps you better understand how cookies work and how to configure them using available tools.

The use of cookies is common on the internet. A cookie is a small text file containing information stored on your device’s hard drive (e.g. computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when visiting a website via your browser. It is transmitted by a website server to your browser.

A cookie allows its issuer to identify the device on which it is stored during the validity or storage period of the cookie. A cookie does not allow identification of a natural person.

Why we use cookies?

Fibus uses several categories of cookies, the purposes of which are described below. Some technical cookies (notably session cookies) are essential for the proper functioning of the website. Their deletion may result in navigation issues.

1. Technical cookies

Technical cookies are strictly necessary for the website to function. They enable or facilitate communication for the provision of an online service explicitly requested by the user. These cookies are deleted when the browsing session ends.

They are issued and placed by Softeam on behalf of Fibus. They have a very short lifespan, mostly for the duration of the session, and up to one year maximum.

2. Audience measurement cookies (statistics)

These cookies collect information on how visitors use the website, such as time spent on the site or pages visited. They allow statistical analysis of traffic, helping improve website content based on user engagement.

Google Analytics, the statistical tool used by Fibus, generates a cookie with a unique identifier, limited to a 2-year duration. We collect the IP address to determine the city from which you connect; the last two bytes are immediately anonymised. Fibus cannot identify any individual user through this data. The collected data is not shared with third parties or used for other purposes.

3. Social sharing cookies

The website contains social media sharing buttons (“plug-ins”) that allow you to share content with others.

When using these buttons, your browser connects to the relevant social network servers and a third-party cookie may be installed with your consent. If you are logged into a social network while browsing our site, these sharing buttons may link viewed content to your user account.

These data are stored for a maximum of 2 years.

In this context, the purposes and scope of data use, additional processing, and your rights are governed by the privacy policies of the social network providers, under their sole responsibility.

How to manage cookies?

Users have several options to manage cookies. Any settings you apply may affect your browsing experience and access to certain services requiring cookies.

You may change your cookie preferences at any time as follows:

  • Check the box to allow the relevant cookies
  • Uncheck the box to refuse the relevant cookies

For more information on cookies, you may visit the CNIL website: www.cnil.fr

All individuals who have access to the data are required to respect users’ privacy and maintain the confidentiality of their information.

It is reminded that the secrecy of correspondence, confidentiality, and integrity of information transmitted over the internet cannot be guaranteed. Each user is responsible for taking appropriate measures to protect their own data and/or software from potential viruses that may be transmitted during online connections, despite the vigilance of website administrators. Fibus accepts no liability of any kind in this regard.

Fibus will never request confidential personal data from users of the website via email.
