Cookies

When you visit the Site, information relating to your browsing may be recorded in “Cookies” files installed on your terminal (computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.), subject to the choices you have made concerning cookies and which you can modify at any time.

The information below will help you understand how cookies work and how to use the current tools to set them.

What is a cookie?

The use of cookies is common on the Internet. A cookie is a small text file containing information, recorded on the hard disk of your terminal (e.g. computer, tablet or mobile phone) when you visit a website thanks to your browser software. It is transmitted by the server of a website to your browser.

The cookie file allows its issuer to identify the terminal in which it is stored during the period of validity or storage of the cookie concerned. A cookie cannot be traced back to a physical person.

Why do we use cookies?

Fibus, publisher of the site, uses several categories of cookies, the purposes of which are described below. Some technical cookies (session cookies in particular) are essential for the proper functioning of the Site. Deleting them may lead to navigation difficulties.

1.Technical cookies

Technical cookies are cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of the site. They enable or facilitate communication for the provision of a service by electronic means expressly requested by the Internet user. These cookies are deleted as soon as you close your browsing session.

These cookies are issued and deposited for Fibus by Softeam. They have a very short lifespan, for the majority, the time of the session, and at most one year.

2.Audience measurement cookies (statistics))

These cookies collect information about how visitors use a website. For example, the time spent on the site, the pages visited, etc. These cookies allow us to establish statistics for analysing the number of visitors to our site, from which the content of our site is improved according to the success of a particular page with our visitors.

Google Analytics, the statistical tool used by Fibus, generates a cookie with a unique identifier, the duration of which is limited to 2 years. We collect the IP address, in order to identify the city from which you are connecting. The last two bytes are immediately anonymised. Fibus can therefore in no way identify an individual Internet user via the data collected. The data collected is not passed on to third parties or used for any other purpose.

3.Sharing cookies (social networks)

Our site contains social network sharing buttons (“plug-ins”) that allow you to share content from the Site with others.

When you use these sharing buttons, your web browser will establish a connection with the servers of the social networks concerned and a third-party cookie is installed after your consent has been obtained. If you are connected to the social network while browsing our site, the sharing buttons allow you to link the content consulted to your user account.

The data is collected for a limited period of 2 years maximum.

In this context, the purposes and scope of the use of your data, further processing and your rights will be subject to the privacy policies of the social network providers and placed under their sole responsibility.
